The Sky ExplodedI've watched the clouds mimicThe Sky Exploded
the setting sun eagerly to follow
its lead. But a cloud can only try
to wear the sun's colors. They can
be vibrant orange and yellow and pink-
but they can never set the sky aflame.
They may only put those flames out.

The Day the Water SmiledThere's a tac on my roof that when the lights are off you can't see. I know it's there though, long after the day is over and my eyes ache from staring at its home.
